Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Trade and Industry, addresses the tourism sector’s challenges, stressing the need to remain resilient and innovative. He commends businesses for their tenacity and acknowledges the Tourism Recovery Action Task Force’s efforts. Mr Chan also outlines Singapore’s safe reopening strategy, emphasising sustainability as a priority, and calls on local and international partners to reimagine the tourism landscape and seize new opportunities.

Priming for the Return of International Travel – Plenary Session
Ms Eileen Lee, Deputy Director, Market Planning, Singapore Tourism Board, opens with a presentation on key market insights into the gradual recovery of international travel.
Following the presentation, Mr Chang Chee Pey, Assistant Chief Executive (International Group), Singapore Tourism Board, moderates a panel on the status of recovery of the aviation sector. Joining him on the panel are:
