About the Integrated Resorts Industry
Offering a comprehensive range of amenities from hotels, convention facilities and attractions, to luxury retail, fine dining and entertainment experiences, Singapore's Integrated Resorts (IRs) are positioned as distinctive world-class developments.
Adopting a whole-of-government approach, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) oversees the two IRs, Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), in collaboration with other agencies. To ensure that the IRs remain relevant and attractive, we also work with internal and external stakeholders to identify synergies and opportunities, strengthening Singapore’s proposition as a compelling tourism destination.
Developing the IRs
Both MBS and RWS have committed to investing approximately S$10 billion in their expansion plans. The respective expansion plans include:
MBS’ 15,000-seater, state-of-the-art entertainment arena and a luxury all-suite hotel with a rooftop public attraction.
RWS’ new Waterfront Lifestyle Complex with a driverless transport system between the main island and the resort, and attractions such as: ‘Harry Potter: Visions of Magic’, the Singapore Oceanarium, as well as Illumination’s Minion Land and Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Singapore.
