About Tourism Development Fund
Singapore Tourism Board (STB) partners with the tourism sector to strengthen Singapore’s tourism through the Tourism Development Fund. It consists of three main schemes:
Tourism Capability Development Scheme
Supports productivity and talent development in the tourism sector
Tourism Event Development Scheme
Supports events that reinforce Singapore’s position as an international lifestyle and business events hub
Tourism Product Development Scheme
Supports the creation or rejuvenation of high-quality tourism products

BIF supports tourism companies to enhance productivity and competitiveness by adopting new technologies and redesigning business models and processes, including sustainable initiatives. | LEAD supports efforts by Trade and Associations & Chambers (TACs) to drive industry initiatives that boost productivity, sustainability, technology & infrastructure, collaborations, etc. | TIP-iT supports tourism companies to upgrade their employees’ skills and leadership development through certified structured training. |
Tourism Event Development Scheme

Business events in Singapore (BEiS) | Kickstart Fund (KF) | Leisure Events Fund (LEF) |

BEiS seeks to encourage the business events industry to anchor and grow high-quality events in Singapore. It also aims to spark content innovation. | KF supports the creation and test-bedding of new consumer-focused or business-focused events and concepts. It focuses on ideas with strong tourism potential and scalability. | LEF supports the creation and development of unique, world-class leisure event experiences that showcase Singapore as one of the world’s most vibrant cities. |
Tourism Product Development Scheme
